Very short answers (VSA) questions are designed to elicit concise responses, typically consisting of a few words or a short sentence. These types of questions are commonly used in exams to assess a student's ability to recall specific facts or details. VSA questions intuitively demand a strong foundation of prior knowledge and deeper learning, and rules out cueing and guessing.
In the Application Case activity, you have the option to create VSA questions. This question type allows you to set a Measurement Unit and provide examples of the correct answer(s). There is no limit to the number of words you can use, but only the answers you provide will be marked as correct.
In the optional settings, you have the ability to customize the activity as an individual task by deselecting the 'This is a team-based activity' option.
