This article will provide you with basic information about how to transfer course ownership to a different instructor.
This Guide is for:
- Super Admin
- Admin Teacher
- Teacher (Course Owner Full-Access)
As a Teacher, Admin Teacher or Super Admin, you have the ability to transfer course ownership to another instructor. In order to achieve this,

Log in to your InteDashboard account

Navigate to the My Courses page within your course dashboard

Locate the three dots under "Actions" for the course you want to transfer course ownership

Click on View Course

Click on Collaborators heading at the top of the page

Click on the three dots in front of the instructor who you want to transfer the course to

Click on the Transfer Course Ownership button
- Select the new Course Collaborator role from the options in the dropdown
- Click on the Update button to save the changes made
A few things to note are:
The newly added course collaborator will receive an Invitation to join email from InteDashboard showing the name of the course, name of the instructor that sent the invite and the course collaborator role.
The role will update the current instructor to Course Owner role and the new instructor will be updated to Course Admin role.
