This article will show you how to mark student attendance from the activity dashboard.

- Super Admin
- Admin Teacher (Full-Access)
- Teacher (Owner Full-Access)
In team-based activities, students must click to participate in the activity in order to mark their attendance, regardless of whether they are designated as the team reporter.
Teachers and team reporters now have the ability to mark students as absent or present for team-based activities.
From the activity dashboard, you will find the Attendance section on the right.
a. Allow teams to mark attendance : By default, this is disabled. If enabled, team reporters can mark their team mates as 'present' or 'absent'.
b. Update student status: Click on the dotted icon to change a student's attendance status as 'present' or 'absent'. You can also make a student team reporter for the activity.
