This article will teach you how to reset a student's password.
This Guide is for:
- Super Admin
- Admin Teacher
- Teacher
Step 1 – Click the “People” tab on the left-side navigation and select “Students”
Step 2 – Click the “Actions” button in the column on right-side of the student’s details and select "Reset Password" in the drop-down.
Step 3 – Click “Send Password Reset Instructions via Email” OR “Set Temporary Password to ******” in the pop-up.
- Send Password Reset Instructions via Email – Student will receive an email that contains a link to set a new password.
If student did not receive the email
- Check if the email address is correct.
- Advice the student to find the email in their spam/junk mail if it’s not in the inbox.
- Reset Temporary Password to ****** – Student can use a 6-digit code as a temporary password to login.
There should be a prompt to update password upon login
- Advice the student to change their password from their profile to make sure that their accounts are secured.
