Teachers don't have to invite existing students in InteDashboard to use the software every term. Students (or any user--teacher, TA, administrators, etc.-- for that matter) only need to activate their account once.

How the Course-Section function in InteDashboard works
The Course-Section-Student management system in InteDashboard allows teachers to create student list for each course so that students won't be able to access courses they are not included into.
Here's how it works:
- In this example, Teacher 1 has two courses. Each course has its own student list, with Course A being taught to two different sections.
- Teacher 2 has 2 courses and each course has their own student list with only 1 section each.
- Some students are enrolled in Course B (Student 1, 2, 3 and 4; as well as Student A, B, C and D).
- This means that these students will be able to see the activities from Course A and Course B because they are included in them. The same students will not be able to see modules and activities from other Courses they don't belong to (in the example above Course 2.)
Similar to how class sections work in a physical classroom, InteDashboard allows the same scenario where students who are enrolled and are included in the course have access to activities in those courses.
So..
- Whether students are going to use InteDashbaord again in the next term,
- Or students belong to different courses.
The teacher must...
- Create the course;
- Indicate the sections (if more than one class is taking the course), and
- Add the students who belong to the course;
- If there are new students, send them an invite to activate their account.
- If these are existing InteDashboard users are already in the system, then they'll automatically see any published activity in the course. No need to invite. No need to activate.
Managing Students in InteDashboard
As a teacher, you can easily manage/view the student list using the STUDENTS navigation link on the left side of the screen. (see screenshot below)
- Check the STATUS
- If it says "Active" that means that they have already activated an InteDashboard account and they are existing users.
- If it says "Not yet Invited" that means that you have to send them an account activation email link for them to set a password.
