✨Here's the meaning of the options available on screen at this stage:
-
From Question Bank: These are questions that you have already in the past into InteDashboard. More instructions on this method here.
-
Create New Question: This option allows you to add questions along with answer choices one at a time. This option is best if you want to add images, equations, or other types of special formatting to your questions. More instructions on this method here.
-
Copy & Paste: This option allows you to submit your information in bulk using Excel. This option is the best and fastest option as long as most of your questions do not have images or equations. More instructions on this method here.
-
File Upload: Similar to the copy and paste option, this allows you to upload your information in bulk using an Excel file. Like the Copy & Paste option, this isn't optimal if your questions carry images and equations, but it's extremely fast and efficient as opposed to manually inputting questions or selecting questions from your question bank.
- Set the points.
- Click the Go to Optional Settings button to save and move to the next step:

- Choose your IRAT activity settings at this stage.
- Toggle the Yes/No switches per your preference.
- Add instructions to your students by uploading media.
- Click the Review your Activity button to save and move to the next step:

✨ The settings on this page control how the students will answer the IRAT. Please read below to understand how these settings work:
- Toggle Enable Immediate Feedback to Yes to allow your students to know right away whether their answers are correct or not. They will get to choose answers until they get the correct answer, while obtaining immediate feedback. If you turn this option to Yes–you will automatically disable Confidence-Based Testing, and enable Allow students to change answers before final submission.
- Confidence-Based Testing is a point distribution system that will allow your students to allocate points to any given answer option.
-
If you want your students to be able to change and re-change their answers through the entire test, toggle the Allow students to change answers before final submission option to Yes.
-
If you don't want the students to skip questions, then toggle the Students must answer questions in sequence option to Yes.
-
If you need to ensure that cheating is minimized, you can toggle the Randomize answer options order option to Yes. This means that the answer choices will appear differently between students.
- Review your activity.
- Click the Publish your Activity button to save and move to the next step:

- Please review the content and settings of your IRAT Only activity. From this page, you'll be able to edit any part of your activity, or you can click on the steps above the buttons to go back to any part of the activity.
- Click the GREEN button to Save your edits.
- If you add more questions to the activity in step two, then save the points for the added question in step three or else the change will not take effect.
- Choose your publish settings.
- Click the Publish Activity button to save and move to the next step:

- Click the Go to Dashboard button to go to the dashboard:

- Click the Start IRAT button to start the activity for the students once you're ready.
- Once students answer, the data in the dashboard will be automatically updated:
