This article shows you how to reset a student's password.
Is your student having issues logging back in? You can reset their password for them. Teachers also have the same capability to reset a student's password if a student is unable to login.
Here's how to get this done:
- Click on the Students on the left-side navigation bar.
- Search for the student by typing their name or email in the search box.
- Once you've located the student information, click on the "Reset Password" button.
It will trigger a popup containing 2 options.
OPTION 1: Send Reset Password Link
Click the green button and the student will get an email from InteDashboard containing a password reset link.
The student should open the password reset email sent from InteDashboard
Next, the student must set a new password for their account by following the prompts
OPTION 2: Reset Temporary Password
The four-digit number here is the temporary password. (Ex. 3556). The student can log in to their account using their InteDashboard email account and this 4-digit number as their password.
*Advise the student to change their password after logging in with the 4-digit temporary password to secure their account.
