🧲 2FA is an additional layer of security used to make sure that people trying to gain access to their InteDashboard accounts are who they say they are.
When the option is enabled—you will notice the following at login:
⬆️ Notice the Enter Pin Here prompt
Now please look for an email with the following title: Complete your InteDashboard sign-in with this pin
You will find the pin needed to enclosed within the body of that email.
✨ Please note: This feature is optional and can be turned on-and-off for teachers and students by your super admin.
This is how you can universally turn the 2FA option on or off:
➡️ From within the InteDashboard super admin account—navigate to the settings area:
⬆️ Notice the 2FA settings in the middle of the page
➡️ You can turn these settings on or off for teachers, and students universally throughout your InteDashboard account.
➡️ By enabling it for teachers only. All teachers within your organization will need to confirm their InteDashboard login via the 2FA security process.
➡️ By enabling it for students only. All students within your organization will need to confirm their InteDashboard login via the 2FA security process.
➡️ Both security features are not dependent on each other—so you can turn one on and leave the other one off.
➡️ You can also turn either option on-or-off at any time during your semester.
