✨ InteDashboard allows you to quickly import students into your course via CSV file. Though, the file needs to properly follow the required template—so the data can be interpreted properly.
The CSV file itself can be created or edited in any program. Though, for most users, we recommend a spreadsheet program, such as Microsoft Excel, Apple Numbers, or Google Sheets.
For the most part, users who report an issue when adding their student roster through the bulk options usually have formatting errors in the column title area of their spreadsheets.
➡️ To illustrate this better—here’s a screenshot of a spreadsheet with properly formatted column titles:

🧷 Notice the missing column rows? That's the most common reason why InteDashboard presents some users with CSV import errors during this process. You need to make sure that your column titles have the standard column titles required at all times when using the bulk methods to add students to minimize any chances of error. Please note, that the only rows that need data in them are the First Name, Last Name, and Email rows. You can leave the rest of the rows without data as long as the column titles are present.
➡️ If needed, you can download a formatted CSV template to add your students here.
