When you run an asynchronous Application Case activity, it means that students will take the test at different times within the open period. Specifically, students will only be able to start answering the test at the "start date and time". Depending on the time limit the teacher has set, i.e. 20 minutes, students will have 20 minutes to take the test during the open period. There is no pause once the students start answering the test.
***Teachers will not be able to extend the test duration if you have set a time limit.
***On the other hand, teachers can choose not to set a time limit, so students can access and be able to keep answering within the open period.
